About the role
As the Marketing Lead at CSB IG you will spearhead our marketing initiatives for the financial services businesses in four jurisdictions. Adopting a start-up mindset, you will craft robust marketing strategies and lead marketing efforts across the entire marketing mix. This role calls for a self-motivated, pro-active strategic thinker with a proven track record in the fintech/regtech industries who can help drive our vision and business development goals, and ensure our offerings resonate with our target markets. The role is based in Malta or London.
Key responsibilities
• Marketing Strategy: Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies that enhance visibility and raise brand awareness of our financial services business.
• Team Management: Lead, mentor, and expand a small but dedicated international marketing and design team, to support strategic goals and company growth.
• Sales and Marketing Collateral Creation: Develop and maintain compelling collateral, ensuring that our product offering is perfectly tailored to meet the needs of the market and communicated effectively to our target audiences.
• Brand Development: Spearhead the continuous development of the brands in our portfolio and increase visibility, awareness, recognition and trust of CSB IG companies to key target clients and partners
• Lead Generation Campaigns: Develop and deliver marketing campaigns that meet lead generation goals, align with company initiatives and capitalise on market trends and opportunities. Identify communication strategies and appropriate communication vehicles to support campaign objectives and performance targets by audience, geography and segment
• Performance Metrics: Set targets and create KPIs, monitor and report on the effectiveness of marketing initiatives, adjusting strategies as needed to maximise results.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with Business Development (BD) and Account Management (AM) teams, to align marketing and sales strategies, and ensure all teams are working towards shared goals. Work with BD & AM teams to deliver lead-gen and lead-nurture programmes and capture in-bound marketing leads
• Market Research and Competitive Analysis: Conduct ongoing market and competition research to understand the evolving customer needs and preferences, quantifying opportunities and adjust marketing strategies accordingly.
• Budget Management: Manage marketing budgets and allocate resources efficiently to maximise ROI.
• Agency and Freelance Management: Oversee and coordinate the work of external agencies and freelance talent, across content creation and growth marketing, ensuring high-quality output and alignment with our marketing strategies.
• Event Management: Plan and execute participation in industry events and conferences, partner events, and other activities, representing and enhancing brand visibility and awareness.
• Martech: Maintain the company’s automated marketing / CRM systems. Use automated marketing and marketing technologies and tools to drive performance.
Qualifications and profile
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field; a Master’s degree would be an added advantage
• Proven experience in marketing leadership, preferably in fintech, regtech, or financial services
• Ability to contribute to the growth of the group's marketing function by leading the implementation of new tools and spearheading the population of databases
• Passion for growth marketing and strong understanding of marketing strategies and digital tools, with the ability to adapt quickly to the changing landscape
• Demonstrable ability to develop strategic marketing plans and campaigns and execute them successfully
• Excellent communication, leadership, and strategic thinking skills
• Experience in stakeholder management
• Ability to work effectively in a diverse, international team environment
